Consultations are FREE, and will last an hour. This will give us an opportunity to have a chat about your lifestyle, your current health & fitness, and discuss your goals.
Prior to this session it would be really helpful if you're able to download & complete the 3 attached documents below and bring them with you (Life Style Questionnaire, PAR-Q and Terms & Conditions). Please don't worry though if you're unable to do this, as you can complete them during the consultation.
Your 1st PT session will involve some simple health & fitness testing to determine your current level of fitness and how best we can work together to achieve your goals. Please try and avoid alcohol & coffee 24 hours prior to this session and ensure you've eaten a meal at least 2 hours prior.
Watching the pennies? Why not train with a partner or friend to keep costs down! I can offer small group sessions where you can test your competitive edge & spur each other on!
Each session will last an hour, and take place outdoors, or at my home in Fishponds (Whichever venue you’re more comfortable with!) However a combination of indoors & outdoors is highly recommended to keep the sessions interesting & varied with the added bonus of lovely spacious parkland & good old fresh air)
The sessions will be tailored to your goals & will consist of a variety of challenging & effective exercises which involve warm ups & cool downs, resistance work, strengthening, toning & cardio. So whether your goal is to lose weight, increase your cardio fitness, or strengthen & tone your muscles then there's a programme for you.
We'll be using a whole variety of methods which may include any of the following:- 1:1 boxing (fantastic workout & great fun), resistance bands, dumbbells, weighted bars, fitness ball, skipping rope, running & cycling. Along with a combination of body weight exercises to really work on balance, technique & co-ordination for upper body, lower body & your core.
